Taj Mahal - Package
Tour Cost: USD 125.00 per person for a minimum of two persons travelling together. Cost includes pickup and drop between your hotel and New Delhi railway station, private a/c car for sightseeing in Agra and for the trip to Fatehpur Sikri, the services of an English speaking guide, lunch at Agra. Breakfast and dinner is served complimentary to all passengers travelling on the Shatabdi Express.

Note: The tour can also be done from Delhi by car, but an overnight stay in Agra is recommended as otherwise it gets to be a rather tiring day. For two persons sharing a room, the cost would be US$ 225 per person.
Taj Mahal is considered to be the finest example of Mughal architecture, the Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife. The white domed marble mausoleum is the most well known aspect of the building.
Construction of the building began in 1632, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen and was lead by a board of architects including Ustad Ahmad Lahauri who is generally considered to be the principal designer. In 1983, the Taj Mahal was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list as a jewel of Muslim art in India. With two to four million visitors annually, the Taj Mahal is definitely one of the most visited landmarks worldwide.
Getting to Taj Mahal
One can approach the Taj from three different directions:
1. The Eastern entrance is often used by tourist groups arriving by coach from Fatehabad Road.
2. The Southern entrance is from the shops, around the Taj
3. The Western entrance is ideal for those arriving by car or cycle-rickshaw from the Agra Fort.
