Day 1:






 
Arrival into New Delhi. Meet our car and driver who will be waiting for you outside Arrivals. Check into your hotel. Delhi is the historical capital city of India with a delightful mix of Mughal architecture and the bustle of a modern metropolitan city. Overnight Delhi.
Day 2:
Full day guided tour of Old & New Delhi. Visit India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar. Visit the bazaars of Chandni Chowk. It's rumoured that Tandoori Chicken is the national bird of Delhi! In the evening see the Sound & Light show at the historic Red Fort. Overnight Delhi.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Agra 204 km. Check into your hotel. Visit the Taj - the greatest monument to love built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Tonight, sample some of the kebabs that Agra is famous for. Overnight Agra.
Day 4:
Drive from Agra to Jaipur 237 km. Check into you hotel. Take a half-day city tour of Jantar Mantar, the City Palace, Hawa Mahal. In the evening attend a culinary course with our finest chef of authentic Rajasthani cuisine. The maharajas were gourmets and Rajasthani cuisine is distinctive in its flavor and use of spices. Enjoy an excellent dinner specially designed for you. And for those with a sweet tooth, Rajasthan offers some amazing traditional sweets. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 5:
After breakfast visit the splendid Amber Fort and ride an elephant up to the ramparts. Evening free for shopping. Jaipur is famous for precious & semi-precious gems, silver, handicrafts, carpets & textiles. In the evening have dinner at Chokhi Dhani an authentic ethnic place with Rajasthani cuisine, folk musicians & dancers. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 6:
Fly to Jodhpur. Check into your hotel. Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada. Overnight Jodhpur. Enjoy a traditional meal of 'dal,bati,choorma' - a typically Rajasthani vegetarian meal which is often served at marriages and festivals.
Day 7:
Fly from Jodhpur to Udaipur, the city of Lakes. Check into you hotel overlooking the lakes. Half-day sightseeing of Udaipur City. In the evening go for a boat-ride on lake Pichola. Later in the evening a special culinary treat of Marwari cuisine will be arranged for you. Learn special delicacies from the finest chefs. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 8:
After breakfast drive 100 km out of Udaipur to visit the stunning Jain temples of Ranakpur and the Kumbalgarh fort. The temples of Ranakpur, with over a thousand marble pillars have exquisite carvings, with no two pillars alike. Return to Udaipur. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 9:
Fly from Udaipur to Delhi & connect with your international flight.
 
 
If you wish to extend your tour to see Jaisalmer in the heart of the Indian desert and the fabulous Jaisalmer fort you could drive from Jodhpur. Two nights in Jaisalmer with a camel safari over the dunes then back to Jodhpur to continue your tour to Udaipur. You could also fly Udaipur to Mumbai & connect with your International flight. Goa could be an add-on if you wish for an extended stay.
